ECE 425 Digital Signal Processing (3 credits)

Course Description: This course investigates the relation between continous-time and discrete-time signals.

Prerequisite: ECE 306

Objectives: Upon finishing the course, students are expected to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Understand the basic operations of sampling and quantization processes
  • Perform discrete-time Fourier Transform
  • Design digital lowpass filters
  • Design digital highpass filters
  • Design digital bandpass filters
