ECE 453 Communication Systems (3 credits)

Course Description: This course introduces students to the basic communication systems principle and practice.

Prerequisite: EGR 304 and ECE 306

Objectives: Upon finishing the course, students are expected to accomplish the following objectives:

  • Understand modulation and demodultion processes.
  • Understand multiplexing techniques.
  • Characterize the basic components of communication systems.
  • Analyze the performance of communication systems.
