Welcome to the Department of Nursing! We offer multiple options for you to pursue your goal as a nurse. Please browse our site and discover for yourself Nursing at Miami University.

We want to make you aware of changes that are occurring in our programs: 

• The Associate Degree Nursing Program is being phased out and the last class will be admitted to the Middletown campus only in the fall of 2010. 
• There will be two classes of LPN-AD track students admitted to the Middletown campus; one each in May of 2009 and 2010. 
• The Associate Degree program will admit 30 students to each regional campus to begin in fall, 2009, and then 30 students to only the Middletown campus in the fall of 2010. 
• The Baccalaureate Nursing Program is increasing the number of admitted students; 40 students will be admitted to the Hamilton campus for fall, 2009.  We anticipate 40 students would be admitted to the BSN program in Middletown, fall of 2010.  Please take a look at the BSN curriculum and criteria for admission elsewhere on this website. 
• The RN-BSN completion program will continue to be available and the nursing courses will all be available online by May, 2009.  Several online courses were offered fall, 2008, and students were successful and pleased with the courses.
