Welcome!

The Paper Science & Engineering Foundation now ensconced in the new $23 million engineering building is set to begin a new era and commitment to the paper industry in partnership with the Department of Paper and Chemical Engineering (PCE). Keeping faith with the paper industry’s needs, PCE now offers the Chemical Engineering Degree with a concentration in paper science, in addition a second concentration in environmental engineering is offered. The Paper Science & Engineering Foundation supports the PCE department with scholarships for students studying paper science, encourages student to co-op, and take summer jobs in the paper industry.

The pilot machine is being upgraded for the Fall Semester in order to offer our students an enhanced, outstanding learning opportunity that will enable them to hit the ground running when they begin their professional careers in the Paper Industry. The Miami University Paper Science & Engineering Foundation has created a global reach through an educational alliance formed with Helsinki University of Technology. In addition, the Foundation is working with the PCE Department to form a strong relationship with the South China University of Technology.
