SEAS Student Advisory Council

What is the SEAS Student Advisory Council?

The SEAS Student Advisory Council is a group of students representing the majors within the school. The council meets with the dean and assistant dean to discuss issues and concerns of students, as well as general ides for the school. The SAC also works with the dean on school-related issues such as expansion, new programs, program development, SEAS Advisory Council, etc.

What does a member do?

  • Attend monthly meetings with the dean.
  • Hear and voice concerns of concerns of other students to the dean
  • Offer suggestions and provide feedback for the dean.
  • Lead or participate in projects such as the recruitment of potential students, informational mailings, and the annual SEAS Picnic.
  • Members may have opportunities to attend special events or serve on a SEAS committee.
